Welcome to the Lady Knights softball webpage. The Lady Knights play at the Tri-Sport Castle Complex located at Mount View High School.
On Saturday, April 17, 2004, the Mount View Lady Knights traveled to Man for a double-header contest with Man and Burch. The Lady Hillbillies handed the Lady Knights their first loss of the season by a final score of 11-1. The Lady Knights played without a few of their starters who had to attend a required HSTA trip to Charleston. Starting pitcher Erin Bishop was one of those who did not play. The Lady Knights continue on with a 3-1 record.
On Saturday, April 17, 2004, in the second game of a double-header in Man against Burch, the Lady Knights regained their composure from suffering their first loss of the season to earn another victory by a final score of 6-5. The Lady Knights are now 4-1 on the season. The Lady Knights return to action Monday, April 19, 2004, at home against Pikeview.
Bishop Pitches No Hitter...
On Monday, April 19, 2004, Pikeview High School traveled to take on the Lady Knights of Mount View on the mound where Senior Erin Bishop pitched a no hitter and the Lady Knights came away with another victory by a final score of 10-0. The Lady Knights are now 5-1 on the season.
A Second Loss is Handed to the Lady Knights...
On Tuesday, April 20, 2004, the Lady Knights traveled to Bluefield to take on the Lady Beavers where the Lady Knights of Mount View took only their second loss of the season. The final score came at 8-6 and the Lady Knights are now 5-2 on the year.
